Tell adidas: Pay Entis the money he's owed!

Entis worked for ten years at the PT Kizone factory just before its closure in 2011. He, along with 2,800 fellow workers, is owed 1.5 million euro by his former employer. Adidas, a former buyer at the factory, has paid over 120 million euro to plaster its name all over the London Olympics. Yet they are refusing to pay a penny towards the money still owed to Kizone workers.

Pressure from campaigners across the world forced adidas to meet with workers in June. Their offer: a food voucher for each workers worth just € 43 - the price of one London 2012 branded sweatshirt. Adidas' latest offer is nothing more than an insult. 

This is Entis' response:

"I see [the food voucher] as a form of abuse by adidas towards us as the former workers of Kizone. These vouchers will not cover our debts.  Since PT Kizone closed, we have had no income - no work. I, as a former Kizone worker and a representative of my fellow workers, demand 1.5 million euro as our severance.

Our friends over at SumOfUs.org have joined the campaign for PT Kizone. They have set up a petition to call on adidas to pay up. We need to show adidas we are not going away.
