After a more than a decade of campaigning, we have reached the final week of negotiations on the Arms Trade Treaty.

During this pivotal time, the tone of the negotiations at the United Nations has grown tense. With a matter of days left until the conclusion, it is apparent that we have a long to go to ensure that the ATT is bulletproof.

Supporters like you from around the globe have offered your photos, signatures, and testimonies to show that the world will not settle for anything less than a bulletproof Arms Trade Treaty. Even though millions have spoken out for years, the governments at the United Nations still need to be reminded that an Arms Trade Treaty that fails to save lives is simply not an option.

You can remind them by taking action at multiple levels. Phone calls and emails are a great way to directly convey your support for the ATT. Additionally, many foreign ministers are now on Twitter. If you have an account, click here for sample "tweets" that you can use to put pressure on your government. Simply copy and paste or create your own ATT message to governments using #ArmsTreaty.
